Christine Hayes是耶魯大學Robert F. and Patricia Ross Weis 宗教研究教授。她於1993年在加州大學伯克利分校獲得了博士學位。一個在塔木德，聖經解釋學方面的專家。Hayes 教授聖經和塔木德時期的文學和歷史背景。她是兩本學術書籍的作者：Between the Babylonian and Palestinian Talmuds，這是Salo Baron獎項第一本介紹猶太思想和文學的獲得者，于1997年獲獎；Intermarriage and Conversion from the Bible to the Talmud，2003年全國由他圖書最終獲獎圖書之一。她還撰寫過本科教材和一些雜誌的文章。
